Terms of service

These Terms set out the conditions of sale for products on this website, operated by Darling Wings Chocolate ("we", "our", or "us"). By placing an order you agree to these Terms.

Order Formation

  • There are circumstances in which we may be unable to accept an order,
  • such as items being out of stock or an obvious error in a displayed price or product detail. In that case we will contact you promptly and refund any payment in full.
  • All our products are made in small batches, so stock is limited.

Prices and Shipping

  • All prices displayed on the website are tax inclusive.
  • Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the destination and the number of items.
  • Orders within Japan over ¥5,000 ship free. Free shipping does not apply to international orders.
  • Payment is accepted by credit card or PayPal.

Delivery

  • Orders are normally dispatched from Japan within 5 days of being received.
  • Delivery may be delayed by carrier conditions, weather, or customs procedures.
  • For international orders, customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees may apply, and these are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Some countries and regions restrict food imports. Checking the rules for your destination is the customer's responsibility.
  • Where an order fails to arrive because of an incorrect delivery address, the cost of re-sending is borne by the customer.

About Our Products

  • Our chocolate is made by hand in small batches. Variation in colour, shape and flavour between pieces is normal and is not a fault.
  • In warmer weather, standard delivery can leave a pale bloom on the surface. It does not affect quality or flavour, but if you would rather avoid it, please choose chilled delivery.
  • Where standard delivery is chosen, we cannot accept responsibility for changes in condition caused by temperature during transit.

Cancellations, Returns and Exchanges

  • To cancel before dispatch,contactus as soon as possible. Depending on how far preparation has progressed, we may be unable to accept the cancellation.
  • Because chocolate is a food product, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind after an order has been shipped.
  • If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund, and return shipping in these cases is covered by us.

Prohibited Conduct

The following are prohibited when using this website:

  • Placing an order using false information, or impersonating another person
  • Interfering with the operation of this website, or unauthorised access
